From the opening number, Jazz Mania hit the high note. Musical Director Grant Langdon had the band primed and ready to deliver.
An audience of over 200 people were treated to a wide mix of jazz styles which really demonstrated the versatility and musicality we have around the stands at Waitakere Auckland Brass.
In a showcase like this, it was hard to pick a favourite piece as the band spoke from all corners of the jazz globe. We were very fortunate to have Bevan Williams as our MC and guest artist taking part in our programme again, a fact not lost on any of the band or audience as their warm applause demonstrated.
